Never cease to be amazed...

You think when you see a deer on the side of the road lookin at you as you pass by - -that's cool. Then you notice a crane or a swan or even (as I drove the other day) a flock of wild turkeys... and you think - wow - where on earth do i live?

Bu then... then the strangest thing occurs. You're driving along, and lo & behold - there is a peacock... nay - 2 peacocks on the side of the road. Not fenced in, not on a leash... but walking along. And you think to yourself, these can't be "wild peacocks" - as I'm quite sure peacocks are not indigenous to Michigan - "but possibly, they're pets?" Yet you notice they are unrestrained.

So finally you decide that this is Kalamazoo and you can't really explain everything around here... it's like Venice beach - but instead of crazy tatooed drug addicts - -we have peacocks. Crazy place Michigan is.
